Need to keep all volunteer hours for grant information
Volunteer seeded graves – if any missed - will seed those as identified
We have signs to post once we can safely get to the corners – Terry Willis will assist us in locating where they will be placed
Christine – update on review of burial books from funeral homes
FB page now has a volunteer overseeing it – (guidelines accepted by Judy Finkle and the BOD)
New Business:
Discuss options/steps/etc. to get the perimeters cleared, treated, determine how much can be used for addition graves
Timer on gate and remote controls – need to make sure remotes are working (3)
Mr. Tingler has completed mowing for this year

Draft of pamphlet – review and decide on size/color/etc.

Report on getting old books preserved.

Mapping the cemetery – have started this process.

Agreed on numbering system – will be Sec/Row/Grave

Should we divide Sec “A” – it is really long.

Sec “M” is on both sides of the shed and not completely plotted.

Water line runs thru Sec “M”

Will contact someone to check on getting a new map printed when done.

Mr. Leach is looking into getting “plot” signs for each section for us.

Non-profit paperwork completed and mailed.

Can take 1-6 months to be approved – any donations received after filed can be retroactive.

The advantage of this is the ability to apply for grants.

Donors can take their donations off on their taxes.

We have volunteers that will be seeding graves near the end of October.

Correcting the instruction sheet we used for headstone/foundation guidelines – it is not appropriate for our needs.

Spoke with Mr. Searcy, Mr. Leach, and the person that does Ransdell.

Christine is going through old Burial records to find people that have been buried and have no headstone and to help match burial records to our new cemetery documenting system for those that have nothing recorded in any records.

FB page – we have a volunteer willing to oversee this with some stipulations.
